THE TEMPLE

this temple is on the east side of the city, right up against the huge red wall that surrounds the city. there are three entrances, the front entrance, and smaller entrances on the left and right side. there are statues of monks and monstrous creatures within the temple, and it's got many rooms with wooden floors and sliding doors. it looks like some kind of Buddhist temple but the writing inscribed isn't any asain language, and none of the statues resemble any of the hindu or buddhist gods. it's possible this temple was a religion only known to the people who once lived here, and will be forgotten since everyone who could read the hieroglyphs are dead. mysterious things happen at the temple, and it's said that if you eat inside the temple you'll be cursed with bad luck until you sacrifice something in the temple... it's probably just a silly story a prisoner made up to scare others off... but could it be true?
